Easy vision board with Animoto

Once you have created your account and to make a short 30 second movie you just follow the 3 steps. For the 2 affirmation movies I created in just a few minutes, I used a combination of saved images and animoto images and music.

How I started making vision boards

I remember the day I decided to have a go at making my first movie board. I spent most of the morning trying to decide what the hell I was going to make a movie about. I really had no idea where to start and to top it off I had no idea about using movie maker software. But I did have determination and plenty of enthusiasm.
So where did I begin? Well mindmovies are not new to me as I had bookmarked quite a few - some I use regularly for inspiration, some for meditation and others I keep bookmarked so that I can revisit in the future. Funnily enough when I revisit some of the bookmarked 'law of attraction movies' they are actually making some sense now. Anyway on with the vision board story.
Some of the music really gets you going and some, well it does not rock my world - so I set about looking through some of our cd collections and also trolling around on YouTube to see what did rock my world. It's like looking through an old photo box or memory box - you easily get lost in memories and stories about when I first heard that song, or I was doing this then...there is an abundance of music that help you put your vision together.
It's all about gathering all your ingredients together first before you set about moulding your masterpiece. Your ingredients consist of images, affirmations, music and software to glue it all together.
Making a vision movieboard helps me to focus on where I am going. I use it as a debriefing tool because when I am making a movie I forget all time, I become immersed in the creation itself and consequently I am oblivious to the 'now' reality. Being creative pushes you to another world, it opens up your learning capacity and when you pause to look back to check your progress, you amaze yourself. We really are brilliant creatures - so I spoil myself as often as possible and look forward to making these weekly.

Manifesting Formula

Being impulsive can be risky, but it's even more dangerous to cling doggedly to the past when the future is calling.

The key to manifesting has been around forever and is in the Bible. 

Matthew 21:22 "And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive."

Be clear about what you want (as opposed to not asking or asking for the wrong things).
Believe that your request is being brought to you.
Receive when it shows up (often we fail to see that what we have asked for, even when it is knocking on the door).

And the final step is to acknowledge when it works for you by being grateful to the Universe.

In his story he related how his mansion came to be and of then finding a picture of this very same mansion on one of the vision boards he had previously made - when he first started his journey, some years before.

Vision boards are powerful Personal Development tools which are based on the Law of Attraction and if used correctly, can transform our lives for ever. The key thing is to be sure that you are not making the same common mistakes when you make your own vision board as everyone else.

Below are the top common mistakes people make with vision boards:

1. They don’t even look at it!
   As simple as it may sound, you will be surprised how many people will sit down and decide what they want, gather pictures that embody their dreams, apply love and attention in creating their vision board – and then leave it at the back of the cupboard all summer! Vision boards are made to keep you focused and to inspire you in taking action. Keep it in a place where you will see it daily, whether that is your bedroom, office or on the fridge door.
   
   
2. They don’t think about what they really want
   Do you want a models physique or do you want to go down a jean size? There is quite a difference in goals here, so be sure you know which 'want' you really want. If you find yourself staring at a picture of size 6 models on your vision board and you’re feeling bad – then it’s a fair guess to say you need to put more time into thinking about what you really want. This is the most critical stage when you make your own vision board.
   
   
3. They choose the wrong pictures
   Don’t just throw together any picture that you can find; get specific. If you want to go on a dream holiday to France, then get down to the travel agency, look through brochures and choose the exact package you will go for – then stick that page of the brochure book on your vision board. It’s important that you choose pictures that embody what you want, while sparking an emotional attachment within you. It’s great fun gathering your pictures this way and really keeps you inspired once your vision board is complete and you are looking at it regularly.
   
   
4. They choose the wrong type of vision board
   If you spend the majority of your time at the office, then don’t make your own vision board that will then be stuck at home; you need to make one for the office. Likewise, if you spend most of your time working in a home office, then don’t choose the smallest board you can find that is dwarfed by the furniture, turn your wall into a gigantic vision board that inspires you to put in your best effort.
   
   
5. They don’t look at it consistently
   If you are not looking at your vision board consistently on a daily basis, then you are not fully utilising the power available to you. When you generate feelings as though you were living your dreams i.e. driving your sports car, on a consistent basis then these desires will be brought to you quicker.
